As an elder millennial, Ulta isn’t my usual stomping ground. But, when I heard Beautycounter would be popping up there, I was excited to explore. It had been at least a decade since I stepped foot in one! When I asked my make-up loving 16yo if they wanted to come with me, the enthusiasm was off the charts. And then when I shared Beautycounter would be in the store starting in March, the look of “I’m impressed” was all the validation we old people seek from the cool youth! But, as we walked through the store, it took hours to navigate product ingredient safety. Kiddo kept asking me “Can I get this?”, and I needed a PhD in chemistry to properly answer.
